Transport to the Barossa

 

Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage is an easy one hour drive from the Adelaide airport, or a half hour flight by helicopter. Transport options to your cottage include:

  • car hire in Adelaide and self drive
  • pick up by chauffeur driven vehicle
  • helicopter from Adelaide airport directly to the cottage

Adelaide's traffic is well controlled, not congested and flows well. The Sturt Highway, the main route to the Barossa, is a dual lane highway all the way to the Seppeltsfield exit. The cottage is only a further 2.3 kms. Most guests hire a car to drive to the cottage and find it an easy drive. Your own vehicle gives flexibility with touring and sightseeing.

If you prefer to be chauffeur driven from the airport to the cottage and when touring the Barossa or surrounding regions, such as the Clare Valley or the Adelaide Hills, there are many professional Barossa transport operators who give a high degree of personal service and know all the best places to take you!

Guests can either make arrangements themselves or we are very happy to obtain quotes and book for you if you wish to be collected from Adelaide (or the airport), have your own chauffeur for the period of your stay and be returned to Adelaide at the end of your stay.
