Kitchenette
Our guests enjoy many restaurants and eating out experiences in the Barossa.
As well as our dine-in options, the indoor & outdoor kitchenettes offer guests the ability to prepare simple meals and snacks in the cottage.
Handcrafted by Barossan craftsman Andy Pywell using early Barossan design concepts, the indoor kitchenette features:
- Microwave
- Bar fridge
- Toaster
- Egg poacher/boiler
- Kettle
- Electric frying pan
- Wusthof knives
- Sink

Crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking implements are provided.
Condiments include local olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, black pepper & tomato sauce.
Used dishes & cookware can be placed on trays in the meatsafe and are collected daily by us, washed in our dishwasher and returned to the cottage.
Dishwashing is not one of our guest activities!
Outdoor Kitchenette, Cooking & Dining
In 2011 Andy worked his magic again and crafted a fabulous cabinet for outdoor dining. A work of art, the kitchenette features a jarrah top which incorporates a butchers block comprising of 186 individual pieces of jarrah arranged end on end. The drawers contain everything guests could possibly need for alfresco cooking and dining.
The Weber gas barbecue under the cottage verandah can be used for roasting, barbecuing and cooking great bacon and eggs! It also has a gas hob and Scanpan and Le Creuset saucepans are provided.
