Dine-in Summer Menu Sample

As described on our website, we offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy a simple home cooked, Barossa inspired menu of regional produce. Where possible, foods are sourced from the Barossa Farmer’s Market and local providores.

As the dinner is for 2 persons only, the same courses need to be ordered by each person.

Starter:
Barossa regional produce tasting plate
An array of small tasting portions of traditional Barossa produce which reflect the historical Barossa traditions of smoking, preserving, pickling and fermenting.


Entrée
Cucumber Gazpacho
Salad of Waechter’s Smoked Duck, Beetroot, Goat’s cheese and Vino Cotto (Entrée or Main)
Grilled Peach & Prosciutto salad


Main course
Saskia Beer's Corn Fed free range Chicken baked with Preserved Lemon, Pancetta & Rosemary
Kangaroo Fillet with Damsen Plum and Sherry Glaze
Linke’s Grilled Rib-eye Steak with Anchovy butter.
Hutton Vale Double-cut Grilled Lemon Thyme chops

Served with vegetables or salads in season.


Dessert
Oranges & strawberries in Cointreau
Individual Charlick’s pavlovas topped with cream & fruits in season
Rotegrütze: chilled Shiraz & Sago dessert– unique to the Barossa!
Orange & Almond Tart

Served with Kernich’s cream or Maggie Beer ice-cream.
