"After 18 nights, we are still as impressed as when we arrived. Sharyn & Peter treated us like honoured members of the family, communicating their love of this place, the Barossa and its traditions.
We will always have memories enriched by their vision and the cottage - attention to detail (where else did you get sharp knives!!) overwhelming provisions (sorry Sharyn, I did not gain 10kg...but close), furnishings, amenities...all wonderful (as was the wine).

Favourite pastime - sitting on the patio...drinking coffee, sipping wine, feeding geese, picking herbs & veggies in Sharyn's garden, and BBQing/eating dinner as the sun went down. Other highlights...dinners at Appellation & 1918 (try the kangaroo), lunches at Peter Lehmann & Maggie Beer, Farmer's Market, and tasting almost anywhere. Thanks again, Sharyn & Peter, for making this a magic time."

Barossa Valley - Siedler-Cottage
Sharyn und Peter haben mit der Renovierung dieses kleinen Cottage ein wahres Meisterstück abgeliefert. Trotz der modernen Einrichtung (Fußbodenheißung im Bad, kleine Kitchenette mit allen notwendigen Geräten, Gasgrill, usw.) blieb der ursprüngliche Charme eines Siedlerhäuschens erhalten. Gleichzeitig sind beide Gastgeber sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und stehen gerne mit Tipps zum Erkunden des herrlichen Barossa Valleys zur Verfügung. Sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft.

For you a translation: Sharyn and Peter did a masterpiece by renovating their small cottage. Despite the modern facilities (underfloor heating in the bathroom, small kitchenette with all gear needed, grill, etc.) the charm of a small cottage remained. At the same time the hosts were hearty, very obliging and were disposed to give tips to discover the beautiful Barossa Valley. This accommodation is highly recommended.
