Situated only 5 minutes from your cottage, our guests can enjoy one of Australia's premier dining experiences. Appellation's signature experience features their Chef's Tasting Menu, 5 courses paired with 5 locally made artisan wines chosen from small sub-regions of the Barossa Valley.

The privacy of Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and exclusivity for one couple makes it an ideal special occasion destination.  Less than 15 minutes from your cottage, a romantic dinner at 1918 Bistro & Grill will make this a memorable time for you both. 1918.com.au

Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a unique dining experience, dine at the cottage and let Stuart or John from Handmade Catering treat you to a very personal and memorable Barossa experience.

Depending on the season, choose whether to dine inside by the fire, under the verandah, on the lawns or in the cellar. The menu will be personally tailored for you and includes premium regional and seasonal foods including those sourced from our garden.

Prices from $290pp including French champagne to start and premium Barossa wines including estate grown Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Legend of Seppelt Tour

Enjoy the ultimate foresight of Benno Seppelt when you discover The Legend of Seppelt. Since 1878 stocks of port from every year await their hundredth year, then get bottled and released. Benno's foresight is there for you to taste.

  • 2 hour tour starts in the original 1851 family homestead and includes the barrel cellar, the trophy cellar, Joseph's room and the 100 year old storage cellar. Learn about the Seppelt family from their immigration, settlement by the Para River, to today.

Penfolds Make Your Own Blend

Tour Penfold's Barossa winery and wine cellars, then enter the Winemaker's Laboratory to try blending your own wine from Grenache, Shiraz and Mouvedre, like Penfolds own Bin 138. The wine is then presented to take home in a personalised bottle.
