Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a unique dining experience, dine at the cottage and let Stuart or John from Handmade Catering treat you to a very personal and memorable Barossa experience.

Depending on the season, choose whether to dine inside by the fire, under the verandah, on the lawns or in the cellar. The menu will be personally tailored for you and includes premium regional and seasonal foods including those sourced from our garden.

Prices from $290pp including French champagne to start and premium Barossa wines including estate grown Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

 Appellation Tasting Menu Package

In August 2008, Australian Gourmet Traveller Magazine awarded Appellation restaurant a two star food and service rating and three goblets.

The Australian Gourmet Traveller 2009 Restaurant Guide defines a two-star, three goblet rating for a restaurant as "A genuinely superior dining experience and worthy of a detour. Put simply these restaurants boast the finest, broadest, most mouth- watering wine lists in the country".

The 2009 Guide review states, "Appellation has developed great finesse and harmony in its delivery of top-end dining...seamless service...a benchmark in wine-region dining."

Siuated only 5 minutes from your cottage, guests can enjoy one of Australia's premier dining experiences - the Appellation Tasting Menu. Changing on a monthly basis, the 8 course tasting menu is developed around wines chosen from small sub-regions of the Barossa Valley.

The privacy of Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and exclusivity for one couple makes it an ideal special occasion destination.  Less than 15 minutes from your cottage, a romantic dinner at 1918 Bistro & Grill will make this a memorable time for you both. 1918.com.au 

Enjoy your 1918 restaurant experience inside by the fire or in the beautiful gardens depending on the time of year.

A dining experience worthy of celebrating any occasion. Enjoy all that Appellation offers as described above, but with the 3 course menu option.

  • BYO available. Corkage $18 per 750ml bottle.
