The Barossa Trust Mark – Our Promise Kept, will be a logo granted under licence for companies, products and experiences that demonstrate exemplary achievement and distinction across five areas of value creation in the food, wine and tourism sectors: origin; quality; integrity; environment and community.
The licence will be granted on a 12-month cycle and requires annual renewal, ensuring that only the most up-to-date and achievement-oriented businesses are recognised as at the region’s vanguard for food, wine and tourism.
At Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage, our aim is to offer our guests an authentic, quality Barossa experience whilst providing luxury vineyard accommodation and we are proud of the fact the Barossa is pioneering a world first for recognising the achievements of best-practice regional food, wine and tourism experiences with the Barossa Trust Mark.
At the September Launch, Chairman of Barossa Trust Mark Inc. Linda Bowes explained:
“The Barossa Trust Mark not only attests to origin, but also recognises a commitment to other cues which we believe are of increasing importance to the discretionary spend of consumers around the world, namely quality; integrity; environment and community. Ultimately, the Barossa Trust Mark will become the region’s definitive endorsement of its leading products and experiences, and will provide consumers with an immediate assurance of not just place, but also of method and purpose,” Bowes concluded.
