Previous Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage guests Tom and Fiona had a dream to find some of Australia’s finest outstanding wines and to share them with people who had (or were developing!) a passion for learning about the wines at the point of purchase.
I think it’s fair to say they have excelled!
Their amazing shop, Wine Republic, has just opened at 265 Brunswick Street Fitzroy, in Melbourne.
The shop is all class…….and the chandelier is worth a visit in itself!
Fiona and Tom spent a week in the Cottage earlier this year and set themselves the task of discovering many of the unique wines of the Barossa, including those from boutique, small producers like ourselves.
Of course the first wine they discovered was our own Seize the Day Rosé which is chilled and waiting for our guests as they arrive at the Cottage. You can now find it chilled at Wine Republic!
Fiona and Tom’s passion to source the right wines was evident and I could see their future customers would be in for a wonderful experience. As a wine producer, we know there is so much that goes into producing a wine and the story is a big part of the process. Tom and Fiona spent time with many Barossa producers learning about their wines, passion and drive.
